The Governor of Hasaka, Ghassan Khalil, discussed during a meeting held in the governorate building, which included the administration and deans of the faculties and the Higher Education Division in the Euphrates University branch, ways to resume the university teaching process in the governorate, which stopped after targeting the infrastructure of a number of university faculties by the American occupation and the (Qasd) militia.
Khalil stressed that the meeting aims to find the appropriate solution to restore the university teaching process and return students to study seats after the end of the first semester exams, which were launched recently, and with the capabilities that exist within the governorate, pointing out that the proposals reached today focus on restoring the educational process until next September, as It is possible then to take another decision in this regard in the event that the promises to return the headquarters and university faculties are not implemented.
The Vice President of Al-Furat University, Dr. Riyad Khraba, indicated that there is great satisfaction with the return of the examination process in the various faculties and institutes affiliated with the Euphrates University branch in Al-Hasakah Governorate, which is going well, pointing out that the meeting discussed ways to restore the educational process for students with the need to maintain the quality of education.
