President Biden's statements, which came during his visit to Japan, were confirmed by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wen, who indicated his country's readiness to defend its national interests regarding the issue of Taiwan, which is an inalienable part of Chinese territory, and that there is no room for complacency or concessions in matters relating to the sovereignty of China.
