Greater Bay Area Airlines announced today (24th) that it has been granted the status of designated airline by the Transport and Housing Bureau.
The company pointed out that it can now apply to the relevant foreign regulatory agencies to operate scheduled flight services, and looks forward to launching the first flight service as soon as possible.
The third aircraft is scheduled to join the fleet in July this year, and the company plans to continue expanding the fleet in response to market demand in the next five years.

Greater Bay Area Airlines said that today it has become the designated airline under the airline agreement or arrangement between Hong Kong and other countries and regions. Chief Executive Officer Yau Yinghua also thanked the relevant regulators.
The company also said it will offer passengers a variety of additional service options and flexible fare products.
Greater Bay Area Airlines took delivery of its first aircraft in September last year and obtained an air operator license in October of the same year.
It was subsequently granted an air transport licence to operate scheduled air services in February this year.
Following the second aircraft, the company's third aircraft is scheduled to join the fleet in July this year.
