About 20 million tonnes of cereals were to sail to Egypt, Lebanon or Tunisia before July, the start of the next wheat harvest in Ukraine.
But almost everything is immobilized in the farms and the port of Odessa, the main exit port for the country's agricultural production.
Not only does Russia prevent any export by blocking the ports in the Black Sea, but it would plunder part of the Ukrainian goods to resell it itself abroad, affirms Volodymyr Zelensky.
