An Iranian fighter plane crashed this morning during a training exercise in the eastern province of Isfahan, in central Iran.
And the Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Mohammad Reza Jan Nathari, the political, security and social assistant to the province of Isfahan, as saying in a statement today that “an F7 fighter plane crashed near Anark in the city of Nain in Isfahan,” explaining that the fighter was on a training mission.
Nathari indicated that investigations are underway to uncover the causes of the accident, pointing out that the pilot and his assistant were killed in the accident.
