At least ten people were killed and two others were injured by gunshots this Monday in two bars located on a street in Celaya, in Guanajuato, the municipal government reported in a statement on Tuesday.
The authorities indicated that, after receiving the 911 call and arriving at the scene, "several cards alluding to a criminal group" were found, without providing further details.
This is the tunnel through which it is believed that drug traffickers crossed from Mexico to the US.
The municipal government of Guanajuato adds in the statement that the State Prosecutor's Office is already conducting the first investigations and that it will provide more information as long as "it does not affect the investigation."
