Missing 28-year-old: Day-long search ends – body found in the forest

After days of searching for the missing 28-year-old, the police found what they were looking for – with a sad result.

The 28-year-old had been missing since May 11.

The large-scale search by the police was unsuccessful for a long time - now the body of the woman has been found.

Coburg – A 28-year-old woman from Bad Rodach, in the Coburg district in northern Bavaria, had been missing for almost two weeks.

The police had searched for her with a hundred people, including helicopters in the air and divers in a lake.

On Monday, the police reported a search success of a sad nature: the woman's body was found in a forest in Coburg.

The missing person case also caused a stir because the 28-year-old's car had been moved after her disappearance.

A fact that had put question marks on the faces of the investigating police officers.

So now the end of the search: As the public prosecutor reports, the lifeless body of the 28-year-old was found with the help of sniffer dogs in a forest near Coburg.

However, a spokesman for the public prosecutor's office could not say how the 28-year-old died.

This will now be the subject of further investigations.

Missing case is a mystery - it's not the only one

The 28-year-old's car was seen on May 12 at a lake.

A day later, the car was seen again in Bad Rodach.

Investigations are now being made in this direction as well, which may help to solve the case.

The police are also puzzled by another missing person case.

According to a police spokesman, a 52-year-old woman has also been missing since Wednesday.

She had driven her son to school in the morning - since she was supposed to pick him up again in the afternoon, she has been missing.
