The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Tartous governorate organized 26 catering seizures during the past two days against the violating commercial activities in the governorate.
The Director of Commerce and Consumer Protection in Tartous, Bashar Shaddoud, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the supply seizures included a fuel station in the Al-Ghadir area for violating the use of gasoline for a purpose other than its intended purpose. Two gas stations in Safita and another station in violation of stopping work without prior permission.
Shadoud explained that a catering seizure had been organized against the Shebli bakery, in violation of the weight of the bread bundles prepared for sale to accredited people, and the fines amounted to 1.387 million pounds. Trading in ration bread, the value of fines amounted to 14 million pounds, in addition to organizing a catering control against a certified bread agent by violating the selling price of ration bread, and the fines amounted to 1.280 million pounds.
Shaddoud pointed out that a shop was also closed for a week in Baniyas for a violation of not issuing invoices and selling at an excessive price, organizing two catering seizures, violating the lack of a specification card, regulating 4 seizures of possession of unknown and expired materials and trading them, and a catering seizure against a sweets shop, violating the failure to provide a cost statement for its products. And the control of my catering for violating the double validity period.
Shaddud pointed out that 5 seizures were organized, including violations of fraud in the production date, writing off the old production date, writing a new production date, a violation of the production date in the form of a removable label, a seizure by charging an extra price, a seizure not declaring wages instead of services, and a seizure of a manufacturing workshop for violating conditions Contracting by imperfectly providing the service, not giving an invoice and charging excessive prices.
