Although Prince George should grow up as down-to-earth as possible, his upbringing cannot simply ignore the fact that he will one day be King of England.
London – Prince William (39) and his wife Kate Middleton (40) are doing their best to ensure that their three children George (8), Charlotte (7) and Louis (4) grow up as normally as possible.
However, special rights and duties still play a role in the everyday life of the siblings.
As number three in the line of succession to the British throne, this particularly affects Prince George.

They should not be spoiled, remain modest and down-to-earth and, above all, enjoy their childhood: When it comes to raising their children, Prince William and Kate Middleton agree.
Although George, Charlotte and Louis are growing up in an exceptional environment at Kensington Palace and enjoy other privileges than their peers, the three up-and-coming royals are kept out of the limelight as much as possible while they are little.
George and Charlotte were recently allowed to accompany their parents to one or the other appointment, such as the memorial service for Prince Philip (99, † 2021) at the end of March, but such appearances are currently still the absolute exception.
However, the eldest son of the Cambridges will soon be faced with a strict rule that will set out the difference between him and his non-blue-blooded peers in no uncertain terms.

Prince George: Currently third in line to the British throne
For their last vacation together abroad, William and Kate were able to get on the plane with their offspring.
According to media reports, Queen Elizabeth (96) herself had given the family of five special permission for this.
In the foreseeable future, however, that will no longer be possible, because when George is twelve years old, he will no longer be allowed to sit on the same plane with his father - exceptions excluded.
The reason for this is the protection of the crown.
For example, if Prince Charles (73), Prince William and Prince George were all on board an airplane and an accident occurred, this would have serious consequences for the succession to the throne.
As a result, members of the British royal family have been forbidden to travel together for centuries.
By the age of twelve at the latest, the youngest members of the royal family should be mature enough to understand this regulation.
Certainly not an easy situation for “daddy child” George.
