The Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport announced the extension of restrictions on flights at 11 airports in the south and center of the country until the end of this month.
TASS quoted the agency as saying in a statement: “The restrictions will remain in effect at the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk and Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista We advise Russian airlines to transport passengers using alternative routes through the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.
Russia closed part of its airspace in the south of the country to civilian aircraft on February 24, following the special military operation in Ukraine.
