Against the background of negotiations with the Ministry of Finance on teachers 'salaries, the Teachers' Union, headed by Yaffa Ben-David, will hold a demonstration this coming Monday at 6:00 PM in the Tel Aviv Museum plaza.
The Histadrut is protesting against the low teachers' salaries, which they claim are the mass abandonment of teaching staff that will make it difficult to open the next school year.
According to them, the goal is "to save the education system from collapsing."
The demonstration will take place in the evening, but the Teachers' Union, which represents kindergarten and middle school teachers, announced that on the day of the demonstration, classes in all educational institutions will end at 13:00 - including special education.
The early termination of studies is, they claim, intended to allow all teaching staff to suffice and attend a demonstration.

This morning, the secretary general of the Teachers' Union, Yaffa Ben-David, sent a letter to teaching staff calling on them to come and demonstrate. .
Let's shout in a clear voice: It's enough to destroy the education system.
It is enough to hurt the facts and the teaching staff. "
Recall that on May 15, the teachers' union declared a labor dispute.
This means that as early as next week they will be able to impose sanctions on the education system.
The struggle of the Teachers' Union is backed by Education Minister Yifat Shasha, who recently attacked finance officials and wrote: "The budget department must understand the depth of the crisis and understand that a minimal addition will not solve the crisis, it will deepen it." There is no future for the education system and the meaning is no future for the state. "
