The Civil Campaign to Support Palestine and the Nation’s Issues affirmed that the Day of Resistance and Liberation is an important turning point in the history of the Arab conflict with the Zionist enemy, noting that the liberation of Lebanon in 2000 and the uprising in Palestine after it confirmed the shaking of the Zionist entity and the imminent demise of it.
During a meeting attended by Lebanese and Palestinian personalities and bodies in Beirut on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day, the campaign’s general coordinator, Maan Bashour, praised the efforts that contributed to the making of this great historical victory for Lebanon and the Arab nation, including Lebanese national, national and Islamic forces and parties, Palestinian factions and support from Arab and Islamic countries. Primarily Syria and Iran.
Bashour said: “On May 25, every Lebanese celebrates the continuation of the power equation with which Lebanon liberated its land and by which Lebanon protects its independence and sovereignty today.”
In turn, Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan, Secretary of the Leading Committee of the Independent Nasserite Movement "Al-Murabitoun", stressed the adherence to the resistance to confront the Israeli occupation.
The words of the participants during the meeting also noted the importance of this day when the Zionists see before others the day of their defeat and the beginning of the countdown to their entity, especially after what occupied Palestine witnessed from the uprising, resistance, heroism and quality operations that shook the Zionist entity, stressing that the liberation of Palestine is soon as it is the liberation of what remains of Lebanon.
The participants called for a deep reading of all the transformations taking place in the region and the region that lead to the weakening of the American influence and the weakening of the Zionist hegemony in the interest of the will of resistance and freedom in the nation, stressing that the success of the resistance in liberating the land stems from the coherence of a conscious will, ready strength, clear wisdom and adherence to the unity of the Lebanese And not to be drawn into internal battles, many tried to drag the resistance into it and did not succeed
