The great American power is declining and may be on the verge of collapse. This is a summary of Western and American analyzes published over the months following the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, and the unprecedented economic sanctions war waged by Washington and NATO countries against Moscow and its global repercussions.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Washington imposed the so-called “rules-based world order” as an alternative to international law and the United Nations Charter agreed upon among the countries of the world and this system of rules is the system of American interests that Washington assumes its leadership. war and economic sanctions.

This American rule system divided the world into the “free world” and the “authoritarian world.” Everyone who is not with Washington is “tyrannical and dictatorial,” and everyone with it belongs to the “free democratic world.” It wages an economic or military war against it and drags the “free world” before it to fight this war.

This system is crumbling today, according to the perspective of not a few writers and analysts in Washington and the world, and their evidence, according to the American magazine Foreign Policy, is Washington's inability to mobilize the countries of the world in its economic war and the unprecedented campaign of sanctions against Moscow because of the war in Ukraine.

During the US-ASEAN Summit, which was held in Washington on May 12-13, the US administration tried to exploit it to lure countries to its side against Russia, but many countries announced their commitment to neutrality, and Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) and many countries in the Middle East and South Asia, Latin America and Africa stand with it against Russia.

The newspaper attributes this decline to the decline of American democracy and Washington’s failure to portray the conflict with Moscow as a global battle between (democracy and tyranny), but in fact this failure is a result of the decline of the United States’ military and economic hegemony, not its democracy. The countries of the world are based on democracy and mutual respect, and the world has begun to say publicly... It is unacceptable for Washington to play the role of a thief and a policeman at the same time.

Talk about the demise of the great American power has begun to expand, especially among American opinion writers and political analysts who advise American administrations on how to face the upcoming downfall and try to avoid it.

The analyst in the American newspaper "Washington Post", Fareed Zakaria, believes that the unprecedented US sanctions against Russia and the use of financial instruments as a weapon, may deprive Washington of the hegemony of the dollar, with which it controlled the global financial system, and he believes that the major economies in the world such as China, India and Russia and perhaps Countries like Brazil started searching for financial tools and transfer systems away from the dollar and this would eventually lead to the defeat of the dollar and thus deal a fatal blow to the American economy.

The American newspaper The New York Times has raised fears that many leaders of Latin American countries will boycott the Summit of the Americas to be held in Los Angeles on the first tenth of next June. It is "unlikely" to invite countries such as Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua to the summit.

Joining the boycotting countries are the presidents of Bolivia, Honduras and a group of Caribbean countries, which, according to the newspaper, will deal a "humiliating blow" to President Biden and to the reputation of the White House, which is trying to portray the summit as a show of American leadership.

There is no doubt that what is happening today, especially the departure of many countries that were considered Washington’s closest ally from American obedience, is an indication of the decline of American power as the only superpower in the world in return for the increase in the strength of its opponents such as China and Russia, and this decline may not stop before the moment of collapse reaches Which Washington is desperately trying to prolong it.
