The Mammendorf folk festival starts

The folk festival in Mammendorf started slowly on Monday evening.

But on Tuesday things really get going.

Mammendorf – With the tapping of the first barrel around 7 p.m.

Mayor Josef Heckl, public festival officer Florian Simetsreiter, Tirza Quell (festival committee) and cultural officer Toni Fasching toasted the first beer on Monday and thus opened the festival week.

After the "Ozapft is" the brass band Mammendorf will play on Tuesday.

The tent on Ahornstraße is already open from 11.30 a.m. on Senior Citizens' Day and the Day of the Authorities.

Music comes at noon from the "Lechfeld Buam".

The tent will also open at 11.30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, when it is day for clubs and companies.

During the children's afternoon from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. there are reduced prices at the rides.

At 3.30 p.m. there is Punch and Judy show.

And at 6 p.m. a competition starts: The Mammendorfer Weissbierclub competes against the Erdinger Weissbierclub (on the sports field on Jahnweg).

From 7 p.m. the party band will play “zruck zu dir”.

On the holiday of Ascension Day (May 26), the hustle and bustle in the tent begins at 10 a.m.: with a morning pint, the "Hopfen Musi" and a white sausage offer from landlord Jochen Mörz.
