The United Nations reiterated its adherence to the unity and integrity of the Syrian territories, declaring its rejection of the plans of the Turkish regime in the aggression on part of the Syrian territory to establish a so-called “safe” area in northern Syria.
In response to a question about the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's threat to conduct a military operation at the Syrian border, Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, said: "We affirm our adherence to our position defending the integrity and territorial integrity of Syria," adding: "Syria does not need more
Military operations from any side, but what you need is a political solution and more humanitarian aid.. These are the two things that we are working on.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed in a statement last Friday that the cheap statements of the Turkish regime's president about establishing a safe zone in northern Syria reveal the aggressive games that this regime is plotting against Syria and the unity of its land and people.
