After the Corona-related forced break, the members of the Bichler Trachtenverein Edelweiß were finally able to meet again for the annual meeting in the Bayerischer Löwe inn.

Bichl – As everywhere, only a few events and meetings took place in the past two years.

The tireless and heartfelt commitment of the two youth leaders Manuela Schalch and Barbara Kramer was very praiseworthy in these two difficult years, reports the association.

Because as soon as the legal requirements allowed it, they made it possible for the children to try the Plattler.

Fortunately, a large and very motivated number of Trachler children could be accompanied over the two years, the club is happy.

Board member Michael Doll reported on some of the events planned for this year, such as homeland evening, Kirta-Hutschn and Advent singing.

Gift of honor restored: Joy among the people wearing traditional costumes

He also enthusiastically showed the members the honorary gift from 1921.

This hand-painted picture with a wooden frame was made as an honorary award for the tenth anniversary of the founding of the association.

Since large parts of the picture were missing, it has now been professionally restored and the missing parts added appropriately.

For the costs of the restoration, the association was very pleased to receive a financial subsidy from the Sparkasse Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen Foundation.

New members on the board

Before the new elections were held, Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher addressed a few words of welcome to the assembly.

In the elections, Board Member Michael Doll, his deputy Martin Wiedenbauer, treasurer Heidi Geiger and her deputy Paul Grünwald, secretary Marianne Poschenrieder, the two youth leaders Manuela Schalch and Barbara Kramer, "Deandl representative" and "Gwand representative" Andrea Miller, 1. Ensign Georg Poschenrieder jun.

and 2nd ensign Josef Eberl senior, the two auditors Lorenz Demmel and Josef Eberl as well as equipment/stage manager Georg Höllensteiner unanimously confirmed.

Franziska Annaberger replaces Kathi Pössenbacher as folk music director.

In the last election period, the two exercised this task together.

Andreas Eger has joined the board as a theater manager.

He takes over the office of Johanna Schäffler, who died last December and who carried out this office with great joy and dedication to the end.

Unfortunately, the posts of 1st and 2nd Vorplattler could not be filled at the meeting.

Nevertheless, the active group announced that they would continue to hold rehearsals and organize them themselves.

The assembly agreed to this solution.
