"If you don't like what I say, you put up with it."
This is the response given this Tuesday by the PP senator Fernando Martínez-Maíllo to the president of the lower house, Ander Gil, during the control session of the Government in the Senate.
After more than two hours of round of questions, the first of the interpellations has arrived, formulated on the agenda by Maíllo "to find out who depends on the security of the mobile phones of the President of the Government and the rest of the members of the Council of Ministers”.
During his speech, Maíllo reviewed for several minutes the latest events related to the espionage of the Pegasus program and criticized the Defense Minister, Margarita Robles, to whom the questioning was addressed, for not having stopped the dismissal of the former director of the CNI Paz Estaban.
Robles has responded to the senator, who has intervened again to expose her reply.
It was then that the president of the Senate warned Maíllo for not sticking to the agenda.
“Don't abuse the flexibility of this presidency.
Go to the question of the question formulated ”, Gil has snapped.
"I ask the presidency not to violate my rights," the popular leader replied.
“You have to respect the institutions”, Robles has finally riveted.
