A gynecologist from Châlons-en-Champagne suspected of rape or sexual assault on at least five patients has been indicted and placed under judicial supervision, we learned on Wednesday May 25 from the prosecution.

He was indicted in early May for sexual assault by a person in authority and rape by a person in authority
", which constitutes an aggravating circumstance, the public prosecutor of Châlons-en-Champagne, Ombeline, told AFP. Mahuzier, confirming information from the newspaper L'Union.
A first complaint, filed in 2019, had been dismissed, the investigation having failed to corroborate the facts, she detailed.

During the investigation, the Council of the Order sent "
a report indicating that a certain number of doctors had received complaints from patients
