The Yemeni embassy in Damascus held a reception this evening on the occasion of the National Day and the 32nd anniversary of Yemeni national unity, at the residence of Ambassador Abdullah Ali Sabri in Damascus.
During a speech on the occasion, Sabri stressed that the resistance whose victory we celebrate today has proven that the peoples of the nation will not give up their legitimate dreams of liberation and dignity, pointing out that the unity of Yemen is an essential building block for the beginning of a way out of the state of disintegration imposed by colonialism and occupation.
The Yemeni ambassador reiterated his country's solidarity with Syria's leadership, government and people and its right to liberate every inch of its occupied lands, expressing pride in Syria's steadfastness and steadfastness in the face of the global war.
The ambassador referred to the well-established and solid relations between Yemen and Syria, noting Damascus' stances and firm principles that characterized its foreign policy, which constitutes a solid ground for relations between the two countries, stressing that the victory of the two countries represents a victory for the resistance.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense, General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, Dr. Mahdi Dakhlallah, a member of the Central Command of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Othman Saab, Director of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of members of the People’s Assembly, leaders of Palestinian factions, ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic missions, and political, social and media activities.
