After resuscitation efforts, the three-year-old toddler who drowned in a private pool over the weekend in one of the Hof Hacarmel settlements died today (Wednesday) at Rambam Hospital.
The hospital said that "the toddler was hospitalized anesthetized and resuscitated in a pediatric intensive care unit at Ruth Children's Hospital."
Afterwards, the toddler's heart beat again, and he was evacuated by the forces instead to the hospital.
MDA paramedics present at the event, Lior Almkeys and Ben Kochavi, said: "When we arrived at the house, we saw the toddler lying unconscious in the yard, with no pulse and no breathing.
We put him in the mobile for intensive care, and immediately began intensive and life-saving medical treatment that included souls, massages and medication.
"After long minutes of resuscitation, his heart beat again and we evacuated him for further treatment at the hospital, when his condition was serious and stable and he was breathing."
