As-Suwayda Education Directorate has completed all procedures and arrangements for conducting general certificate exams in the governorate for the current academic year session.
The Director of Suwayda Education, Bassam Abu Mahmoud, indicated during a meeting of the heads of exam centers today in the Education Theater that 126 centers were equipped to conduct general certificate exams, distributed as 68 centers for basic education certificate exams, 48 centers for secondary certificate exams, and 13 centers for vocational secondary certificate in its various branches, in addition to distributing 2500 monitors to Examination centers and secure transportation for observers to and from the centers.
The Governor of As-Suwayda, Engineer Namir Habib Makhlouf, indicated that the governorate provides all the necessary facilities and logistical procedures to ensure the conduct of exams in terms of providing transportation for observers and securing fuel for them, in addition to guarding the exam centers.
The Secretary of the As-Suwayda branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Fawzat Shukair, stressed the importance of providing a comfortable atmosphere for students and creating the appropriate conditions for the proper conduct of the examination process.
The number of students applying for the general certificate exam in As-Suwayda is 13,747 male and female, of whom 7,728 are male and female students for the Basic Education Certificate.
