Assault on boys' festival: 18-year-old harassed by unknown person - description of perpetrator published

An 18-year-old was just able to tear herself away when she was sexually assaulted by a stranger on Sunday evening at the Warngau festival site.

An 18-year-old visitor to the Warngauer Burschenfest was the victim of a sexual assault.

The Kripo Miesbach is looking for public witnesses.

– First the stranger wanted to kiss her, then he carried her to the parking lot and was sexually assaulted: A young woman was the victim of a sexual offense late on Sunday evening (May 22nd) not far from the marquee of the Oster- and Oberwarngau boys' association.

Fortunately, the 18-year-old managed to break away from the drunk offender.

The Kripo Miesbach has taken over the investigation.

As reported by the Oberbayern-Süd police headquarters on Monday, the 18-year-old was sitting on the ground in front of a wooden hut on the festival site around 11:30 p.m.

It was the big festival of the boys' club in Oster- and Oberwarngau.

Around 2000 guests, including many boys from the region, came to the Kapellenfeld to celebrate the club's 50th anniversary.

The beer tent was packed.

Suddenly, an unknown man sat down next to the 18-year-old and tried to kiss her.

He then picked her up and carried her to the nearby parking lot.

According to the police, there were further sexual assaults to the detriment of the young woman.

Kripo is looking for an unknown perpetrator

After about ten minutes, as she later told the investigators, the 18-year-old managed to tear herself away from the stranger and flee in the direction of the marquee.

There, the dissolved woman told an acquaintance about the incident, who finally called the police emergency number.

The police station in Holzkirchen and the permanent criminal service of the criminal police station in Rosenheim then took the first police measures.

There is currently no trace of the alleged perpetrator.

Detectives are looking for a man between the ages of 20 and 25, about 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall, with a slim build and a three-day beard on one side.

He was dressed in leather trousers and a traditional hat.

At the time of the crime he was heavily intoxicated.

According to the police, he spoke Bavarian dialect.

Sexual assault on boys festival: Not the first case

The responsible criminal police station in Miesbach has taken over the investigation and is asking witnesses who can provide relevant information to clarify the crime to call 08025 / 2990.

In the marquee: 18-year-old grabs a young woman under her skirt

Already on Friday evening (May 20) - the anniversary celebrations began on May 19 and ended on May 23 - there had been an incident with a sexual background in the marquee.

Around 11:30 p.m., the Holzkirchner police reported, an 18-year-old Lenggrieser grabbed a young woman’s private parts under her skirt and insulted her with sexual insinuations.
