Two people were seriously injured in an accident on the B2 near Puchheim on Wednesday morning.

Puchheim – A Puchheim woman drove her car on the B 2 in the direction of Fürstenfeldbruck around 10 a.m.

Between the Puchheim-Bahnhof and Eichenau exits, she overtook a truck. Obviously, she overlooked oncoming traffic and crashed into an oncoming van, the police reported.

According to the police, both the person who caused the accident and the driver of the van were seriously injured.

According to the BRK, the driver of the small car, who was around 40 years old, had to be freed from the vehicle by the fire brigade.

According to the BRK, you and the driver of the van were taken to special clinics in Munich by helicopter.

B2 totally blocked for some time

The B2 was blocked in both directions, traffic was diverted via Puchheim and Eichenau.

Two ambulances and the emergency doctor's vehicle of the BRK Fürstenfeldbruck and also the volunteers of the BRK helpers on site in Eichenau were in action.

In addition to the district fire inspection, the volunteer fire brigades in Puchheim-Ort, Germering and Eichenau were involved in the rescue.

The head of rescue service was provided by the Johanniter Unfallhilfe and the organizational manager, who is in charge of the overall rescue service, by the BRK.
