Interactive digital art connects virtual and real

In order to encourage the public to break the established framework, the French May Art Festival this year has the theme of "Art Unboxed", and invited French artist Ophelia Jacarini to create an interactive digital art installation Intraverse, providing the public with an innovative way to experience art.

French artist Ophelia Jacarini uses virtual reality technology to capture her dance trajectory in reality.

Ophelia, who has lived in Hong Kong for just over 8 years, has a deep affection for Hong Kong and regards this creation as a gift to Hong Kong. She specially chose the location to create a dance on the stairs of the historic Central Market.

She said that Intraverse is an interactive digital sculpture. She captured her dance movements through virtual reality (VR) technology, and constructed a digital sculpture in the metaverse. Finally, it was displayed on an interactive electronic screen, and the installation responded according to the movements of the audience. , to achieve a unique interactive experience.

Viewers can even "take away" the Intraverse through Instagram, adding the Intraverse to Instagram's limited-time dynamic effects, punching cards everywhere, connecting the digital world with the real world, and connecting the past and present of Central Market.
