The General Film Organization will launch a series of screenings for the feature film “The Last Breakfast,” directed by Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid, in the Syrian governorates, starting tomorrow, Thursday.

The film, which won the Best Screenplay Award at the 37th Alexandria Film Festival, presents deep human worlds about the loss of people and places due to the war, so that memory plays its game in bringing the missing and bringing them back to life in a way that is not without a magical atmosphere.

About the film, its writer and director Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid said: Wars do not end with cease-fire declarations. The creativity of its artistic equivalent continues for a long time. War is easy to start, difficult to end, impossible to forget.

He pointed out that in this film we find again the story of love in war, and perhaps the following sentence gives us the key to paying attention to his story: “The worst kind of departure is the one who left you and did not leave you.”

It is noteworthy that the film is produced by the General Film Organization 2019 and stars Abdel Moneim Amayri - Kinda Hanna - Karam Al Shaarani - Rama Issa - Youssef Moqbel - Pedros Barsoumian - Muhammad Khawandi - Majid Issa.

As for the program of showing the film in Al-Kindi cinemas in Damascus and the governorates: Tomorrow at four o’clock in Kennedy Dummar and the sixth in Kennedy Damascus, as for Kennedy Latakia on the 27th of this month at six thirty and in Kennedy Tartous on the 28th at five o’clock and in the province of Aleppo the cultural center in Aleppo “Al-Aziziya” On the 29th of this month, the audience of the city of Jableh will have a date with the film at the Cultural Center in Jableh and the Cultural Center in Ain al-Bayda, on May 30th.

In Homs, the film will be shown in the House of Culture in Homs on the first of next June, and in the governorate of As-Suwayda the cultural centers in As-Suwayda Salkhad/Shahba on the 4th of June. Qamishli on June 6.
