The Directorate of Education in Raqqa has completed its preparations for the exams for the basic and secondary education certificates, after preparing the examination centers and distributing cards to students and monitoring cards for the teachers assigned to do so.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Director of Education Firas Al-Alou confirmed the readiness of all exam centers after securing stationery and sterilization supplies to be ready to receive basic education certificate students next Sunday, pointing out that 74 exam centers have been approved for students of the general secondary certificate in its literary and scientific branches in the liberated eastern countryside of Raqqa.
Regarding the students arriving from unsafe areas between Al-Alou, the Directorate of Education, in cooperation with international organizations and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, will open hosting centers to receive international students and provide for all their needs, in addition to remedial lessons for all educational materials.
Al-Alou pointed out that all the requirements were secured and the examination department and question-printing centers were prepared, as well as the follow-up room in the directorate to start its work before the exam, with the assignment of a daily shift with the aim of communicating with the exam centers in addition to distributing specialized and educational mentors to prepare the centers to correct the examination papers.
It is noteworthy that 21,764 male and female students will apply for general exams, including 11916 students for the Basic Education Certificate distributed over 97 centers, while the number of students applying for the General Secondary Certificate in its scientific and literary branches reached 9,833 male and female students distributed over 74 centers and 15 male and female commercial secondary students.
