A man put a finger in the lion's cage - and lost it (@Morris_Monye)
A Jamaica zoo worker decided to tease a lion in front of visitors, put his finger in his cage - and lost it, as this horrific accident was documented on camera and a network partner.
In one of the videos you can see the zoo worker putting his finger in the lion's cage, biting his teeth and face, when finally the lion loses his patience and sticks his teeth in his finger.
The worker is seen trying to get his hand out of the lion's mouth for long seconds, finally succeeding but losing his finger and falling to the floor.
An eyewitness told the Jamaica Observer that a Jamaica zoo worker in the city of Cuba swears in front of visitors, adding: "When it happened I thought it was a joke. I did not think it was really serious. "Apparently. When he fell to the floor, everyone realized it was serious. Everyone panicked. All the skin and about the first joint of his finger were gone."

The video, which has now gone viral, has raised concerns about the lion's well-being and the staff's attitude towards the zoo.
Jamaica's executive director of the Animal Welfare Prevention Association, Pamela Lawson, told the Observer that the incident would be investigated. "We will go into depth.
"I will contact the National Agency for Environment and Planning, which is in charge of supervising the Jamaica Zoo and from there we will move forward," she said.
The Jamaica Zoo has issued a statement assuring the public that it is a safe place for people and animals. Here at the Jamaica Zoo they want to reassure the public.
"We are proud of the love, care and professional treatment our animals receive," the statement said, "The actions shown in the video are both of Jamaican zoo worker and tragic and do not represent the safety and policy procedures to be observed at all times at our zoo."
The zoo management added: "This is an unfortunate event that should not have happened, and we - the Jamaica Zoo family - are doing everything we can to help the lord recover."
The Jamaica Zoo is currently investigating the incident to prevent similar incidents from happening later.

If the loss of the finger and the renunciation of the zoo are not enough - even in the viewers' network, the employee is crucified for his actions.
"Let this idiot go who pushed his hand into the lion's mouth," wrote one and another added: "This is animal abuse. This poor lion is in a cage anyway so why tease him? He deserves to have lost a finger. Too bad he did not lose the whole hand."
Others were more compassionate: "Look, like, he annoyed the lion. He kept patting him, trying to get a reaction out of him. People should respect animals. The poor lion is already behind bars, and then this man goes and pushes a hand inside him. I pray his condition It will get better soon. "
