First place in the five km competition was won by Sergeant Tal Avidan from the 202nd Battalion in a time of 16:38.

The winners of the Iron Parachute Competition were also announced - a divisional surprise competition that took place two weeks ago, in which they practiced combat fitness in the transition from an operational routine to combat effort, and examined fighters, commanders and officers alike in dealing with the mental and physical challenge.

The race was held in cooperation with the Ramat Gan Municipality and the Paratroopers 'Adoption Committee, and was led by the commander of the Paratroopers Brigade, Col. Yoav Brunner, and the chairman of the Paratroopers' Adoption Committee, Guy Gonen.
