Male crew member at Kwai Chung Container Terminal was burned and bandaged during work and sent to hospital for treatment

At about 11 am today (25), the police received a report from a female staff member of the Kwai Chung Modern Terminals Company, alleging that a male crew member was suspected of being burnt to his face and hands by steam from the boiler while working on the ship.

An ambulance arrived at the scene and bandaged the head and hands of the man in his 50s. The man was conscious and sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
