Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko affirmed his country's readiness to provide humanitarian corridors to open Ukrainian ports, pointing out that the Kyiv regime must clear them of mines.

And the Russia Today website quoted Rudenko as saying in a statement, “We have repeatedly commented on the issue of the food crisis and said that solving the problem will require a comprehensive approach, including lifting sanctions imposed on Russian exports and financial transactions,” stressing that “Russia is ready to provide the necessary humanitarian passage to Ukrainian ports, as it does all day, but that will also require Ukraine to clear mines from all ports where the ships are located,” he said, adding that “Moscow is open to dialogue with all parties on these issues.”

The Ukrainian army had mined the exit leading to the mouth of the Dnieper River towards the Black Sea. As a result, it was found that the Kherson commercial port was no longer usable, and commercial shipping was suspended along the Dnieper River. The forces also laid mines near Odessa, and some mines were found off the coast of Turkey.

In another context, Rudenko said that the conditions set by Ukraine for continuing talks with Russia indicate only one thing, which is that Kyiv does not sincerely want to find a peaceful solution to the existing conflict.

Commenting on a statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky who stipulated the resumption of talks in exchange for the return of Russian forces to the positions in which they were stationed before the 24th of last February, Rudenko added, "This statement cannot be assessed as constructive... We have noted that Ukraine has participated in the negotiations since the first day." For the special operation and did not specify any conditions....

And since it sets the conditions today, this makes us doubt the sincerity of their desire to find a peaceful solution.”

Rudenko also stressed that Moscow will not enter into a discussion on the exchange of prisoners with Kyiv until after the trial of the surrendered Ukrainian militants.

"We will look into all matters after the surrendering Ukrainian militants are tried and sentences are passed," Rudenko said. "After that, there may be other steps, but before that any talk of an exchange is premature."
