The Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, discussed with Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, the Omani Minister of Education, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the cultural and educational fields.
Mushawah reviewed the Syrian cultural scene during the years of the terrorist war against Syria and the measures taken to preserve and preserve the damaged Syrian collectibles during it, and referred to the Syrian Ministry of Culture's program and initiatives in the field of child culture and artistic rehabilitation.
The two sides affirmed the distinction of these efforts and their great importance in building a conscious generation that adheres to its heritage and national identity and is armed with civilized expression tools.
The two sides discussed borrowing the original manuscript of Ahmed bin Majid Al-Saadi (Brigades of Benefits in the Origin of the Science of the Sea and Al Qaida), and discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of protection and preservation of tangible and intangible heritage, benefiting from the Syrian experience in teaching the Arabic language, coordinating joint work at the level of UNESCO and mutual support between the two countries.
Then the Minister of Culture and the delegation accompanying her visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher, where they toured its corridors and got acquainted with its departments and history and listened to an explanation dealing with the various fields supervised by the institute affiliated with the mosque.
Dr. Mushouh met with the Omani Minister of Information, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harassi, and they discussed prospects for joint cooperation and the role of the media in spreading culture.
