Violent clashes erupted between terrorist groups supported by the Turkish occupation forces in the city of Ras al-Ain in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka, which led to the death and injury of a number of terrorists.
Civil sources from the city told SANA reporter that “fighting with light and medium weapons broke out in the vicinity of the National Hospital in Ras al-Ain between the so-called (Ahrar al-Sharqiya) terrorists on one side and (Al-Hamzat) terrorists on the other side due to disputes over areas of influence, sharing of stolen items, and control of smuggling routes and crossings towards Turkish territory.
The sources indicated that "the Turkish occupier brought military vehicles into the city to end the clashes between the terrorists."
The sources indicated that "the state of tension still exists within the city, and the campaigns of mobilization and mutual incitement continue, after calls made by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation to mobilize and head to the city of Ras al-Ain to participate in the fighting."
