The first batch of students of the basic education certificate who came from the areas controlled by terrorist organizations through the Al-Tayha crossing arrived in Aleppo this evening, and they are 1,725 ​​male and female students to take the exams for the general secondary certificate, basic education and middle school, in cooperation with a number of concerned authorities in the governorate.

Dimitri Issa, a member of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Provincial Council, said in a statement to SANA reporter that in cooperation with a number of concerned authorities and institutions, international organizations and NGOs, all the 40 hosting centers were provided with all the necessary equipment and facilities were provided for students' access to them, as a number of buses were allocated. Internal transportation to transfer them from Al-Tayha crossing to the hosting centers, indicating that the students will be received in three batches.

The engineer, Mustafa Abdel-Ghani, Director of Education in Aleppo, indicated that the number of students and students of secondary school and basic education registered and expected to come from the areas of Manbij, Sarin, Ain Al-Arab, Afrin and Jarabulus reached 8762 students through the Al-Tayha and Al-Tabqa crossings, where medical teams accompany them from the crossing to the hosting centers in the neighborhoods of Masaken Hanano, Al-Hamdaniya and Aleppo New and equipped with all accommodation requirements.

Abdel-Ghani indicated that, in cooperation between the Health Directorate and the World Health Organization, several medical points were identified in a number of hosting centers in order to preserve the health of students and students, in addition to securing teaching frameworks to compensate for lessons and conduct reviews for them.

Abdul Ghani explained that the number of applicants for the general exams for this year amounted to 79,314 students, including 19,176 students in the scientific stream, 11,053 students in the literary stream, 1958 students in the professional and legal certificates, and 47,127 students in the legal basic and preparatory education certificate, all distributed among 550 exam centers. Of which 72 centers are in the countryside and the rest are in the city.

He added that, in cooperation with the Health Directorate and the School Health Department, 5 health centers were equipped with all the necessary equipment and medicines to follow up on emergency situations.
