"It has always been with me, since childhood," he testifies.

"I was an instructor at Bnei Akiva, in 1987 I took an ambulance driver course at MDA while studying law, I worked as a paramedic and an ambulance driver and in 1994 I became a volunteer - to this day, with about two shifts a month.

In addition, I drive in my locality.

"At a Shabbat meal last month, I jumped, left my wife and children with the guests and ran to the ambulance because there was a fear that an Arab drunk in our area would lose consciousness."

Adv. Ben David organizes study evenings at the Bar Association in the Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Central Districts, in areas related to legal kosher status. In addition, In 2010 I was approached by the military court in Ofer and asked to be a military judge, a position I hold once every two weeks for an entire day.

Until two years ago, I did shifts at the Binyamin station at the Israel Police, and in addition, I am on the committee of an association for foster families. "

When are you enough to work?

"When I volunteer, it gives me tremendous energy. Sometimes I get tired after the whole week but once there is bouncing and riding, I fill up with adrenaline and there is no more fatigue or pain. It's just addictive."

Do you also pay a price for it?

"I guess so, my wife is the one who mostly pays."

Where does this tremendous motivation to volunteer come from?

"It's a kind of hyperactivity and probably education. The things I do in the reserve are very challenging. In the combat battalion I got to participate in arrests at night. Although as a Brigadier General driver I do not make an arrest myself but it's an amazing process to get organized and I'm part of the force that comes.

I protect the soldiers and also the detainees and that is part of a significant service.

In MDA I am in situations where any mistake I may make will be fatal. I assume it keeps me young. Preventing terrorism. "

How do the various volunteers violate your professional endeavors?

"Everywhere you get tools. For example, MDA needs to absorb a situation, think fast and make quick and quality decisions.

I feel the contribution of improving the skill of making decisions in all sorts of areas: In the managerial role in the law firm, my performance has been improved and made more vigorous.

The fact that I work in an adrenaline-filled environment of young people, where the discourse is dynamic and the conduct is young, obliges me to stay young and up-to-date. "

Ben David-Avraham-Hacohen Law Office has been operating since 1991 , Real estate, defamation and scheming, torts, traffic, administrative and constitutional law and more.
