Transport in Île-de-France: disruptions during this long Ascension weekend

2022-05-25T17:47:40.814Z

Taking advantage of the bridge weekend, the work is increasing. Traffic on metro line 7 is interrupted between Gare-de-l'Est and La Courne

Be careful if you use Ile-de-France public transport on this Ascension bridge.

Several lines are under construction on the RATP and SNCF networks, some as of this Thursday.

On the roads, all axes will be loaded, announces Bison smart, in particular during returns on Sunday afternoon.

Northern line 7 closed for four days

This is the main construction site of the weekend.

Ten stations of line 7 of the metro which connects the stations La Courneuve-8 Mai-1945 (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Mairie-d'Ivry, Villejuif-Louis-Aragon will not be served between La Courneuve and Gare-de- the East, from this Thursday until this Sunday.

The reason ?

The RATP is carrying out maintenance work on the tracks and renewing a switch device at the Porte-de-la-Villette station.

Stations without correspondence, such as La Courneuve-8-Mai-1945, Fort-d'Aubervilliers, Aubervilliers-Pantin-Quatre-Chemins, Porte-de-la-Villette, Corentin-Cariou, Crimée and Riquet, will therefore be completely closed.

On the other hand, the Stalingrad, Louis-Blanc, Château-Landon and Gare-de-l'Est stations (with connections) will remain accessible to users.

At Gare de l'Est,

the quays towards Villejuif-Louis-Aragon and Mairie-d'Ivry will be open.

The metro, RER and Transilien connections accessible at Stalingrad, Louis-Blanc, Château-Landon and Gare-de-l'Est also remain normally accessible on May 26, 27, 28 and 29.

Buses will provide service between La Courneuve and Stalingrad all weekend.

For the connection between Stalingrad and Gare-de-l'Est, you can take metro line 5 which runs normally.

Line 7 will return to normal service between La Courneuve-8-Mai-1945 and Mairie-d'Ivry-Villejuif-Louis-Aragon from Monday May 30 at 5:30 a.m.

[# work #line7] In order to proceed with the renewal of a switch point at the Porte de la Villette station, traffic will be interrupted between La Courneuve - May 8, 1945 and Gare de l'Est, from 26 to 29 May 2022. More info 👉 https://t.co/xsT3Z82srY pic.twitter.com/PfENaX1ehr
