A hashtag denouncing the high price of the non-waterproof umbrella has gone viral on Twitter.
Now it is sold as a "parasol".
NUREMBERG - A new partnership between Franconian sporting goods manufacturer Adidas and luxury label Gucci is said to evoke "a new series of hybrid looks" by fusing the sporting goods giant's retro stripes with the Italian fashion house's aesthetic.

But in China, the price of the umbrella, which doesn't even offer rain protection, is excessive: A hashtag on the Weibo website translates as: "The collaboration umbrella, which is sold for 11,100 yuan, is not waterproof" and according to the BBC has so far more Recorded more than 140 million views.
