The works of this year's Refugee Film Festival include: "The Football Teenager Meets the Difficulty", which tells the ideal of two Syrian teenagers living in refugee camps who aspire to become football players; "The Great Green Wall," how change affects the displaced; "The Land of Peace," which takes viewers into the dreamland of refugee children; and "Nowhere to Be Safe," this year's Academy Award-nominated animation about multi-sex refugees seeking love.

The UNHCR "15th Charity Refugee Film Festival" expects to raise HK$200,000 to support emergency relief projects such as the Ukraine crisis, providing 250 displaced children with outreach activities, day care centers and Support services in child-friendly spaces; and will help 1,000 displaced families protect damaged homes or shelters by providing them with support such as plastic tarpaulins.
