A 25-year-old kindergarten teacher, a resident of Jerusalem, was arrested last night (Thursday) on suspicion of committing an act of sodomy and an indecent act on one of the children in the kindergarten.

Jerusalem Magistrate's Court Judge Amir Shaked extended his detention by four days, and banned the publication of the suspect's name.

"At the beginning of the year, we noticed that the child was behaving strangely," said A., a parent of one of the children in the kindergarten.

He said his son behaved in an alarming manner for a long time, but only after the gardener was arrested did he share with them what he had been through.

At first he said he saw the gardener dragging a child by the hair into one of the rooms in the garden and closing the door.

He later said that the gardener took him to the bathroom and asked him to do indecent acts on him. "

"My wife and I can not sleep at night, I can barely reproduce what he told us," A. shared.

"The child has lost faith in human beings. There is no situation in which the kindergarten teachers did not know about it. The kindergarten teachers claim that they did not know it but we are afraid that they are trying to sweep it. For me it is a horror garden."

"I want justice to be done here. The kindergarten management and all the staff have to take responsibility and suspend themselves. How can they know nothing? Until every stone is turned I and the other parents will not send the children to this kindergarten."

He also said that after the Passover holiday, the children's parents came to a meeting with the kindergarten management, where they expected experts and welfare officials to provide them with support, but they did not come.

"We asked to meet the person in charge of the kindergarten in the Jerusalem municipality, with the supervisor of the kindergarten, but they eventually blew up, claiming that because a police investigation is underway, they could not intervene.
