Today, a seminar was held in honor of the late researcher and journalist Shams Al-Din Al-Ajlani, in which a number of poets and journalists participated, during which they spoke about the intellectual, literary and moral qualities of the late, at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.

At the beginning of the symposium, a documentary film was shown about the biography of the late, who was born in Damascus in 1950 and left two years ago at the entrance to the radio and television while performing his media duties and spent about 45 years in journalistic and documentary work, during which he published hundreds of articles and studies that documented the history of Syria, especially the city of Damascus.

He has written many books in the field of documentation, history, literature and poetry, including the French attack on Damascus and the Parliament, the Zionist allegations in Solomon's Temple, a Damascene tweet from Athens and Majnun.

The poet Dr. Jihad Bekfaloni stated that Al-Ajlani was one of the great lovers of Damascus. He was not satisfied with writing about it history and documentation, but rather he wanted to send her his obsessions in poetry, pointing out that the poems contained in his two collections express that the transparent ink of the city he loved, so his poems were honest and transparent.

The poet Muhammad Hassan Al-Ali also explained that Al-Ajlani was loyal to work and represented a great cultural heritage in the field of trouble-making, indicating that he combined the beloved and Damascus in his Diwan, a Damascene tweet from Athens.

And the journalist Mustafa Al-Miqdad indicated that Al-Ajlani was carrying an integrated cultural project that he started with some books, but he did not write for his project to be completed because of his departure. Hundreds of documents and manuscripts were found in his house that were not completed, and this seminar may be a key to working on completing those projects.

The seminar, which was attended by the family of the late and his wife, a member of the central leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, engineer Hoda Al-Homsi, in addition to a group of literature, thought and the press moderated.
