A war between bars leaves eight Colombian fans stabbed in Buenos Aires

Deportivo Cali and Racing Club did not meet in a stadium in Buenos Aires.

His fans, however, almost killed each other on board a train.

The war between the brave bars of both teams ended with an ambush and eight Colombians with stab wounds.

It was a real hunt, which began two weeks ago, with the theft of a flag from the fans hanging in the stadium of the Argentine team.

The tension escalated with crossed messages on social networks.

The Colombians euphorically exhibited the loot and the Argentines promised revenge.

Thursday afternoon was finally the assault.

Some 40 Racing Club members stopped a passenger train in Gerli, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and broke into the car armed with knives.

They knew the prey was inside.

Deportivo Cali fans are in Buenos Aires to see their team, which tonight faces Boca Juniors for the Copa Libertadores.

On Wednesday of last week, they appeared on the Racing field with the excuse of seeing the stadium.

It did not attract attention: Colombians have an old relationship with the Imperial Guard, as the brave bar of the Argentine team was called before being replaced by another faction, called Los Pibes de Racing.

Once inside the stadium, the Colombians found the flag of Burzaco, part of Los Pibes de Racing, hanging on the perimeter fence.

They put it in a bag and left.

Then they showed it on networks and rebuked its owners.

Those of Racing then threatened to assassinate them during the "flag" that the Colombians had planned to carry out this Wednesday at the Obelisk prior to the match against Boca.

“We are going to go to the Obelisk tomorrow, if they want to get their rag back, let those stinkers go, to see if they are going to lose with us.

We are not afraid.

The Cali mob.

The Argentine mafia does not matter to us”, they said.

Clubs from Deportivo Cali stole a flag from #RACING fans and displayed it on social media.

From The Imperial Guard they promise revenge in the coming days when the Colombian team faces Boca in La Bombonera.

There was no time for the flag.

The passengers of the robbed train told in networks how the ambush was.

“The Racing bar got on my train in Gerli to look for some Colombians.

They put us all in the front cars and went to look for the back.

Then they started banging on the windows of my car, making threats.

They are going with a wheelchair to the back car in Constitución so evidently they found one and blew it up, ”wrote a user named @agusdale.

“They were with bottles, with knives.

We all crouch down.

Those from Racing told us to go out: 'this is not with you,' Agustina Sturla, another witness, told the

news channel .

“The Colombians had already been fighting with a boy who was wearing the Argentina shirt.

They must have thought that he was from Racing [he has the same light blue and white stripes] and told him that they had his rag.

When the Racing team entered, the Colombians also took out knives, it was a movie, ”she completed.

The war tension has not disappeared, far from it.

The "rag" has not appeared and this Thursday night the fans of Deportivo Cali will visit the Boca field.

Those of Racing promised to take advantage of the occasion for revenge.
