A traffic accident occurred in Ap Lei Chau last night (25th). A 60-year-old surnamed Chen Tieqiu was driving a motorcycle along the Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road. He was suspected of losing control and was injured and fell to the ground in a coma. After being sent to the hospital for rescue, he was confirmed dead.

His widow told "Hong Kong 01" that the reason for her husband's accident is still unclear, and the police did not find any brake marks at the scene. It was suspected that the accident might be caused by a sudden illness caused by a hidden disease. The accident is still clueless.

At about 7 o'clock last night, a private car passed by on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road and found Chen Pai lying unconscious on the side of the road. The motorcycle rolled over about 20 meters ahead. The private car stopped to cover the vehicles behind and called the police.

The police conducted an investigation at the scene and initially suspected that the motorcycle collided with the road on the left and lost control while driving. The motorcycle helmet, glasses and a tennis racket bag with sportswear were left on the roadside. The road was stained with blood.

Widow Mrs. Chen told "Hong Kong 01" that her husband originally planned to go to Ap Lei Chau to play badminton with a friend last night, but an accident happened. She pointed out that her husband has been driving a motorcycle for nearly 20 years, and he usually does not drive a fast car. It refers to the fact that no brake marks have been found, and no other vehicles have been hit. It is suspected that her husband may have a hidden illness and cause the car accident.

However, Mrs. Chen said, "She (husband) is in good health and has not seen a doctor." Therefore, an autopsy is still required to find out the cause of death.

Mrs. Chen said that she and her husband have a pair of children. The son is now in the UK, and the daughter has just graduated from university and joined the society. Her husband is the breadwinner of the family.

Mrs. Chen also said that she still does not know how to deal with her husband's estate, or that the coroner's court will issue a death certificate, so she is also worried about the family's economic environment.
