The tour, which included the cable and oil industry companies, Zanobia and Shamra for ready-made garments, during which the managers of these companies presented an explanation about the reality of work and production to secure the local market’s need for electrical cables and rods that fall within the rehabilitation work of low, medium, domestic and industrial electricity networks and the production of vegetable oils, ready-made clothes, cotton and masks, and the difficulties encountered Workflow in light of the economic blockade imposed on Syria.

The Minister of Industry, in a statement to reporters, confirmed that the return of the cable company to work after its rehabilitation would secure the basic material for the Ministry of Electricity from network cables, pointing at the same time to the return of food companies to production and securing vegetable oil for the local market in addition to the feed material for livestock breeders and efforts to restore The complex of companies of the textile sector that was destroyed during the years of the terrorist war.

Sabbagh pointed to the work of the ready-made garments company, Zenobia and Shamra, which began preparing new lines for the production of medical supplies for medical operations and the rehabilitation and restoration of companies that stopped production, including the Al Sharq Food Company, which is under rehabilitation through the institution's own capabilities.

The Director of Aleppo Cables Company, Eng. Medhat Bolad, explained that the company is working to equip a production hall for medium tension cables, pointing to the difficulties of securing raw materials for production.

The director of the Aleppo Oils Company, Engineer Rami Fakhro, indicated that the production operations began in the company, and there are reductions in the prices of the produced oils, up to 40 percent. Ten qualification contracts, eight of which have been received, include the roastery, packaging and pasteurization departments, and work is underway to complete the last two contracts to start the production process.

The director of the ready-to-wear company in Aleppo, Ammar Al-Youssef, talked about the re-launch of textile companies in the city, including the company for the production of underwear, where work is being done to complete the cotton gauze production line despite the difficulty of providing manpower and expertise.

Sobhi Katerji, Executive Director of the Nabd Company, which is responsible for the restoration and installation of production lines at the Arab Company for the Cement Industry, explained that the cement, packaging, raw materials, boilers, industrial water and fuel tanks department have been equipped.

Alaa Muezzin, member of the Executive Office in charge of the Provincial Council, participated in the tour.
