Found one thanks to a "ghost" who tried to end her life
A Portsmouth resident claims she was nearly killed by a ghost that haunted her for an entire year - and pushed her off the stairs on several occasions, but now she thanks her: "I found the love of my life and the job of my dreams as a ghost hunter."

Debbie McCall's life was turned 180 degrees when a "terrible ghost," she said, chased her and abused her for an entire year.
Debbie claims the wind tossed things around in the air, attacked her, dragged her by the leg and pushed her up the stairs several times.
All the suffering she went through finally paid off, when thanks to the evil spirit she found the choice of her heart and the job of her dreams: a certified ghost hunter with a large audience of believers.

The 51-year-old development coordinator from Portsmouth, Hampshire, remembers feeling the presence of ghosts since childhood - but the great trauma of her life happened in 2012, when she said a ghost began to haunt her.
She told the Daily Star: "As a child I could feel a foreign presence, but I would ignore it. In my 20s I also managed to see ghosts, but I would just ignore them and they would move on. In November 2012 a ghost stuck with me and refused to release me for more Mishna".
Debbie claims she feared for her life.
She said the ghost was invisible at first but later received the presence of an "ominous shadow".
The apparent wind began to tease her by moving items around her, attacking her, dragging her and pushing her down the stairs. She recounted: “I was desperate.

Over time this became a poltergeist persecution, meaning it began to move things around me.
Things flew in the air and she attacked me.
She pushed me down the stairs and dragged me by my ankles.
It happened four or five times, over a year.
I was completely terrified.

Debbie turned to the church and performed an exorcism ceremony at her home - which did not help.
She turned to a medium who listened to her disturbing stories and advised her to try to let go of the negative energy that was attracting her.
Fortunately in late 2013 the wind, she said, left her alone.
Debbie obviously could not really get back to the routine of her life and ignore the powerful experience she went through and began to study and engage in the spirit world.
This is what helped her regain control of her life.
Thanks to the experience she also found her soul mate, 38-year-old Emily Cowell, whom she met during a seance.
She said: "Emily has the same paranormal desire as mine has, and whenever possible - we go out hunting together. Our dating nights are paranormal investigations instead of dinner at a restaurant. We prefer to spend them like this. Our encounters are unconventional, but it's our passion. "And we do it as much as we can. It has completely changed my life and I have never been happier."
She added: "I went through the hardest year of my life, but I do not regret it because it brought me to where I am today. I believe everything happened for the better."

Going out hunting
Debbie founded the Ghost2Ghost ghost hunting group and has since embarked on more than 120 haunting journeys - taking with her a mix of believers and skeptics.
She said the recent adventure in Fort Vidley, near Portsmouth, Hampshire, was the scariest in her life (apart of course from what happened to her in 2012).
Debbie and a group of 24 ghost hunters invaded the coal tunnels under the so-called haunted building, and around 2:00 at night they heard a roaring roar.
Debbie was stunned by the amount of aggression the winds were transmitting.
She said: "It was so loud. It gave a scary message. I think the ghosts wanted us to get out of the tunnels. They wanted us to run away and we did. More than once I heard ghosts calling 'come out' again and again during my interrogations, but to hear such aggression? It was Significant and something I have never experienced. "
