“Ecological disaster”, “ineptness”, “sacrifices”… Many are the contemptuous of the “crazy” projects defended by Anne Hidalgo and her assistants, to improve the living environment of Parisians and attract more tourists.
Attractive on paper, - the plans presented by the architects reveal a lot of green where gray predominated in this dense and mineralized city -, they prove to be unrealizable.
On closer inspection, the physical constraints of these places force the executive to scale back its ambitions, ultimately leading to disappointment, anger and frustration among Parisians who are only waiting for one thing: an embellishment of the City of Light. .
