Taking advantage of international events such as Art Basel and the French May Art Festival, as well as new local projects, the HKTB has taken the lead to show visitors that large-scale art events have resumed.

These include inviting local artists to display artistic creations on trams; promoting the video work "Condensation of Light" by Art Basel and M+, and the outdoor art installation "Echo in the Eyes" at the Hong Kong Museum of Art.

The HKTB also launched the "Neighborhood Art Tour", allowing citizens and tourists to discover three major surprises.

Surprise 1: It gathers three large urban districts, namely Central, Sham Shui Po and West Kowloon, with five major themes and more than 20 "Art Discovery" attractions; an interactive information map is also introduced to introduce attractions, such as the treasure of the time-honored "Kuan Nam Wah" town shop Embroidery Revealed.



Surprise 2: Launch a new webpage that supports Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Users can customize their virtual appearance without downloading, experience AR virtual interaction at designated attractions, and check in from the air.



Surprise 3: Support the Department of Culture and Creative Arts of EdUHK to hold the first community art exhibition "West Oil Kee" in the West Kowloon Cultural District in June, mobilizing more than 650 primary, secondary and university students to display more than 250 exhibits.


In addition, in order to maintain Hong Kong's global exposure, the HKTB will organise art-themed guided tours, inviting about 1,000 Mainland and overseas media, "Hong Kong fans" and the tourism industry to participate in the promotion of the newly opened M+ and Forbidden City Cultural Museum, authentic art and cultural attractions, etc.
