The concerned committees opened a settlement center in the Al-Assad Sports Hall in the city of Aleppo, in response to the desire of the people, with the aim of allowing the accession of all those wishing to settle their situation in accordance with the terms of the agreements proposed by the state.
In statements to SANA's reporter, a number of those who joined the settlement expressed their thanks to the state for giving them this opportunity and returning them to the bosom of the homeland, calling on all those who were deceived to join them, settle their situation, and start a new life within the state and under the auspices of its institutions.
Dr. Kumait Assi Al-Sheikh, a member of the Executive Office in Aleppo Governorate, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the opening of a settlement center in the Al-Assad Sports Hall in the city of Aleppo aims to receive citizens wishing to regularize their status in the city, in order to ensure that all those wishing to join it.
Al-Sheikh pointed out that the number of those covered by the settlement operations amounted to more than 13,000 in Aleppo governorate through the centers that were opened, which contributed to the return of many deceived citizens to participate in building and rebuilding the homeland.
For his part, Metropolitan George Masri, Archbishop of Aleppo, indicated to the Melkite Greek Catholics that the amnesty decree issued by President Bashar al-Assad contributed to providing an opportunity for all the people of the country and formed an invitation for those who were deceived and wished to return to the bosom of the homeland after settling their conditions to practice their normal lives.
The researcher Kamal Al-Jafa pointed out that the settlement processes that began in the countryside and the city of Aleppo are an opportunity for all the retarded and fleeing to return to the state’s protection, especially that the opening of the settlement center in the city of Aleppo contributes to making room for all the people of the country and encourages them to settle their situation and relieves them of the trouble of moving to centers Far settlement.
Sheikh Jamal Hammash, a member of the Jurisprudence Council in the Ministry of Awqaf, called on all those wishing in the city of Aleppo to hurry to review the settlement center and contribute to the reconstruction of what was destroyed by terrorism, especially since it was popular and satisfied by the citizens.
The opening of the center was attended by the governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab, the head of the security and military committee, the secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Ahmed Mansour, the police chief and members of the reconciliation and settlement committee.
