The provisional snack stand in Siebenhütten started operating just in time for the holiday.
It serves as a replacement for the Almwirtschaft, which remains closed for the time being.

– The managed Alm-Idyll in Siebenhütten (Kreuth municipality) is currently closed.
However, the many hikers did not have to do without a snack and a cool drink on Father's Day (May 26): Just in time for the holiday, the operators opened their snack stand - it serves as a temporary contact point for day-trippers until a solution for the ducal alpine farming is found below the Blauberge.
Siebenhütten-Alm can no longer cope with the growing rush
The tenants - including the Rottach host family Bogner - had not unlocked the excursion destination Siebenhütten this spring.
The reason given was that the small Alm could no longer cope with the growing rush.
Because an extension of the listed building is out of the question, the tenants, owners, community and authorities are currently working on an alternative solution: A new building based on the historical model is being considered.

The hikers must therefore first make do with the temporary solution.
Senior boss Josef Bogner drew a positive balance on Thursday after serving the first Father's Day excursionists: "Everything went wonderfully." Most visitors, mainly families, already knew about the closure of the Alm and were grateful for the alternative offer shown.
The snack stand will be open daily, weather permitting.
