Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, announced that his country will use all available mechanisms to respond to the perpetrators of the assassination of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodayi.
In a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, reported by IRNA, Ravanchi said, “The preliminary conclusions and the existing basic evidence indicate well that this terrorist act comes as a continuation of the organized assassinations against innocent citizens and Iranian scholars, which were planned and implemented as one of the main tools to achieve illegal purposes. in the foreign policy of some regimes.
Takht Ravanchi pointed out that the continuation of this type of terrorism creates a challenge to the international law system and would cause serious and growing concern to the international community, stressing that remaining silent towards such a provocative act that violates the laws and customs encourages the perpetrators and those ordering this assassination to continue such brazen acts and inconsistent with international rights.
Takht Ravanchi pointed out that Khadaei played an active and active role in the fight against terrorism and confronting the terrorist organization (ISIS), adding, "In taking all necessary measures to preserve our people and our interests, we will use all available mechanisms to respond to the perpetrators of this terrorist crime and their protectors."
Takht Ravanchi stressed that condemning this operation is part of the organization's responsibilities in the real and indiscriminate fight against terrorism.
