Iraqi forces and political figures welcomed the adoption of a law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity in the Iraqi parliament, stressing that it is a true expression of the conscience of the Iraqi people.
The Parliamentary Coordination Framework bloc indicated that the law embodies the Iraqi people's preservation of its principles and principles in defending the Palestinian cause and occupied Jerusalem, and emphasizing the non-recognition of the usurping Israeli entity or normalization with it.
The bloc added in a statement, "The understanding of the political forces and representatives of the Iraqi people on important and fateful issues gives a clear message that this people, the nation and those who represent it are steadfast on their principles and constants and defend them."
For his part, the head of the Parliamentary Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri affirmed that the adoption of the law criminalizing normalization comes as a culmination of the awareness of the Iraqi people and their consideration of the issue of Jerusalem as the first issue of the Islamic nation, noting that “Iraq is a race to strengthen the Palestinian right and raise the nation’s ability to develop a spirit of rejection and resistance to the Zionist entity.”
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais Khazali, considered the legislation of the law as a great message at an important historical junction that Iraq addresses to all countries in the region and the world.
For his part, the head of the Parliamentary Assembly of Al-Sanad National Assembly, Ahmed Al-Asadi, indicated that the Iraqi people's representatives had triumphed over national principles and affirmed the Iraqi people's consistent historical position towards the Zionist entity.
Today, the Iraqi parliament voted unanimously on a bill criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity.
The law aims to criminalize normalization with the usurping Zionist entity in any way and to prevent the establishment of political, economic, social or cultural relations with this entity.
