The accident happened at 2:15 p.m.

Apparently, the migrants entered the country with the “rolling road”.

These are trains between Bolzano and Trudering on which truck trailers are transported in order to relieve the Brenner from truck traffic.

The group had probably gained access to a trailer in Bozen or at a stopover.

When they got to Trudering, they may have slashed the roof tarp and tried to climb outside.

According to the police, they probably came too close to the overhead line of the railway.

An arc erupted, hitting 14 migrants.

The line had a voltage of 15,000 volts!

Three of the migrants were seriously injured - a man, a young woman and a 10-year-old child.

All three were placed in an artificial coma, one of them is in mortal danger.

According to tz information, the migrants spoke Turkish, but Kurdish interpreters were also requested.
